Let’s just stay home.

When we have our initial consultation over the phone, one of the items we will discuss is the location for your session. I have a number of really great locations to recommend. However, your home may be the best option.

This family has a large staircase in their home and wanted to create a gallery wall full of beautiful black and white images. We planned to showcase some of the ways they spend time together: baking, playing together, making music. It was important to me to grab a shot at the front door as well.

An at-home family session could be a great fit for your family if:

• you plan to change clothes during your session

• you have young children who need access to the potty

• you have a child with special needs who will feel more safe or comfortable at home

• you are in a new home or are planning to move soon

• you want to document your real life
