Small, Smaller, Smallest
How small is your business? Mine is pretty darn small: me, my camera and my computer. This Saturday is "Small Business Saturday" and boy do we need to support small business this year! For the next few weeks, I plan to highlight local small businesses in my Instagram story. Please take a look and consider shopping local and small when purchasing your holiday gifts. Do you have a small business that I can highlight? Reach out ASAP with your information so I can promote you.
How can you support my small business?
Did you know that I sell art images? Some of them are highlighted in this newsletter. I'd love to help you create a unique gift for someone you love. A framed print of In-n-Out Burger for your college student who makes it her first stop on the way home. A shot of Royce Hall for your favorite UCLA grad. A graffiti print for the artist on your list. I even take commissions! Do you have a spot that is meaningful to you that you'd like to commemorate? Let me know so I can capture it for you.
Finally, here are some easy and free ways to support me.
Follow me on social media.
Like and comment on my posts. The algorithms reward posts with more engagement and move them to the top of people's feeds.
Give me a shout out and photo credit when you post my images.
Recommend me to those looking for a photographer.
Write a Yelp, Google or Facebook review so I pop up in online searches.

In this week of giving thanks I am so very grateful to all of you for your support of my growing business. I have had my busiest year yet despite the pandemic and have had the great joy of meeting so many new clients. I am thankful that you have trusted me to photograph you and that so many of you have invited me to your homes to document your lives during these historic times.
Warmest,
Lisa
