Opening Up

Opening Up

(from the musical Waitress)

Opening up
Letting the day in
Over a cup
We'll say "hello, how ya been?"

Any other musical theater geeks out there? As COVID restrictions are easing, I can't seem to get these Sara Bareilles lyrics out of my head. A couple of weeks ago, I went to a restaurant for the first time since March of 2020. I met two dear friends for margaritas and boy was it fantastic! A few days later, I attended an intimate outdoor graduation celebration without a mask. Thank you SCIENCE! And this past weekend we had a couple over for dinner that we hadn't seen in person since before the pandemic. I am actually starting to feel like my world is expanding again.

As you start to plan your gatherings and celebrations in the coming months, I'd love to be part of them! AWKWARD? No! I'm not fishing for an invitation. I'd love to be there to help you document the emotions of in-person activities: the hugs, the photo-ops, the reunions of friends and family. Did you know I photograph events? Let me be the one to capture the guests, the cake-smash, the group taking shots (not the Pfizer kind) in the corner. You can enjoy your food, your guests and your connections and I will take care of the photos. A week later you will get a gallery full of images to enjoy and share.

Things are opening up and I am grateful.

Warmest,

Lisa
