Bright and Beautiful

This spring, I had the pleasure of creating graduation photos for a group of women at the Claremont Colleges representing Scripps College, Pomona College and Pitzer College. This esteemed group of liberal arts colleges, each with its own personality and focus, is set on a stunning campus with beautiful buildings, gardens and walkways.

We worked our way from the Benton Museum of Art, to Carnegie Library, and then to Balch Auditorium with a stop or two along the way. Campus was bustling with visitors for Alumni Weekend and scattered with local high school students snapping photos before prom. Even with all of that activity, we had no problem accessing beautiful spots for group and individual portraits.

These women represented a wide range of interests and studies: from political science to dance, neuroscience to history. They mirror their bright and beautiful campus. Their deep bonds of friendship and support were evident throughout our time together. It was such a joy to work with and get to know them.

After graduating high school in 2020, this class of Claremont Colleges graduates deserved a special celebration. The friendships that grow out of college experiences last a lifetime. It was truly special to document this group during such a pivotal time.
