Pool is cool!
Most of you know that I have been the photographer at Tom Sawyer Camps for two years. It is a physically demanding job where I come home dirty, sweaty and exhausted every day. The return on that investment is outstanding. I get to spend time with and observe children taking risks while outdoors and unplugged as well as young adults building their leadership and problem-solving skills. One of my very favorite places to shoot is POOL! So much action, joy and straight up fun.
Along with everything else in our daily lives, COVID has changed camp this year. It is still happening; but in a very different, smaller, masked and socially-distant way. One big change is that I will not be capturing the daily activities with my camera. I am feeling that loss in my heart. I will miss the relationships I build with the campers and staff and the hugs that go along with that.
SO, if you have a pool, I would LOVE to come take your family photos there. Let's capture what summer looks like this year for your family: marco polo, canon balls, chicken fights, hanging out on an inflatable swan enjoying a popsicle, little ones learning to swim. Imagine your friends and family receiving a holiday card in the winter with photos of your family soaking up the sun. I'm here and ready for it!
Warmest,
Lisa
